Coaching in the Airline Domain
Our approach to coaching in this sector has been designed to support individual managers working in civil aviation and airlines. It retains the professional structure and ethics of executive coaching but supports this with significant insight on industry topics chosen by the client or client company.

Specially written industry notes provide insight on the topics to be explored in each coaching session. These are tailored for the needs of each discussion and ask questions designed to challenge the client to decide how they will best utilize new knowledge and translate these into verifiable actions and behaviour.

The coaching topics for each individual will be as selected by them. For example some previous coaching assignments have utilised notes on: -

Managing a fully 'joined-up airline' and deciding on the relative significance of specific activities, and therefore resources, if the mission is to be achieved.
Leading and managing complex projects and programmes in an airline environment, and maintaining a business focus in a turbulent environment.

Leading and managing alliances, partnerships or other relationships within a customer driven market, developing appropriate and measurable goals for success.
Improving cross cultural working

Better recognizing environmental opportunities and adopting appropriate yet challenging innovative approaches

Developing an appropriate management style and competence, and working better with external partners, colleagues, and stakeholders.

Better reading the industry context in order to align professional advice with the emotional needs of airline managers.
