The boundaries between instruction, training, counselling and mentoring are often indistinct. We focus on developing learning strategies for individuals and groups to accelerate the achievement of business results.
Our coaching process is based on a number of characteristics:
• The client sets the agenda and objectives • We help maintain their attention on this agenda
• The coaching engagement will have a specific end point • We do not agree to open-ended contracts
• Coaching itself does not improve performance • We support the client in deciding the actions to take
• Internal coaches and external coaches are different • We ensure that we work synergistically in our more proscribed role
• All discussions are absolutely confidential • We provide clear written and oral feedback to the client and encourage them to maintain action notes
We plan regular coaching sessions, supported by telephone or email discussions.
We commit to an agreed purpose in the coaching, we expect the client to do the same. |
